Inclusion Awareness Day Workbook 2004
Creating Congregations Where People of All Abilities
Participate
Pathways Awareness Foundation has declared Sunday,
September 26, 2004, Inclusion Awareness Day. The goal is to create caring,
inclusive congregations where people of all abilities can participate.
Through special worship services, sermons and prayers, congregations use the day
to reflect on how well they intentionally include people of all abilities in
worship, ministry, fellowship and education every day of the year.
Congregations of all denominations are invited to celebrate the day in their
houses of worship or to select a date of their own.
The annual Inclusion Awareness Day Workbook
provides material to assist congregations in observing Inclusion Awareness Day.
