Creating Access and Inclusion in Worship
Inclusion Awareness Day
Congregations of all denominations are invited to observe Inclusion Awareness Day. Set aside a day to reflect on how your congregation includes persons with disabilities in worship, ministry, fellowship and learning
every day of the year. Plan a special service or invite a member of your
congregation with a disability to speak about inclusion in worship. We hope your
Inclusion Awareness Day celebration will remove barriers to participation and
open hearts, minds and doors so that worshipers of all abilities can participate
freely every day of the year.
