Cardinal Francis George declared October 14, 2001 Inclusion Sunday, a day for parishes in the Archdiocese of Chicago to showcase the many ways they welcome parishioners with disabilities every day of the year. Jenny Beese, Inclusion Representative from St. AlexanderÆs parish in Palos Heights, met with her parishÆs inclusion committee several times to plan activities for Inclusion Sunday. ôThis is the third year that we have participated in Inclusion Sunday. Our goal this year is to touch each member of our community through special |
Doris Griffin and John Ferrera of St. AlexanderÆs Inclusion Committee liturgical celebrations so that inclusion will permeate the very fabric of our parish.ö |
